A super simple pizza recipe for school lunch boxes, snacks or a main meal for a whole family. Get the kids involved and invite them to make their own pizzas.
  • Wholegrain or wholemeal pita / flat bread (1 piece = 1 base for each pizza). Use mini pita breads for the perfect kid-sized pizza.
  • 1-2 tablespoons salt-reduced tomato paste per large pizza. Half or quarter the amount for mini pita breads
  • Grated tasty cheese or grated Dairy-free Bio-Cheese for anyone with dairy allergies
  • Your choice of pizza toppings (spinach, mushrooms, capsicum, pepperoni, ham, roast chicken are some of our family favourites)
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper
  3. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of salt-reduced tomato paste over your pita bread
  4. Sprinkle grated cheese evenly on top of the cheese
  5. Sprinkle your pizza toppings on top
  6. Top with extra cheese (optional)
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted
